SMS - the dominating “big thing”

Push eMail on Blackberrys, Instant Messaging or even Multimedia Messages with graphics and audio - who needs that, if you can have SMS?
The “good, old” SMS still ruls the game: 22,4 bln Messages have been send last year in germany, and growing.
According to the german association “Bundesverband Informationswirtschaft, Telekommunikation und neue Medien”, short (Bitkom), the total number of messages will climb over the 23 bln trash hold - a new record!
In average a SIM Card holder sends arround 350 short-messages a year, and in average every 2nd user is sending a message per day.
